Timbit hockey

I started playing hockey when I was about five years old. In a backyard rink my dad made for us. I started playing on a team when I was about six. At the time we were called “Tiny Tykes”. I still remember as a young goalie Tiny Tyke skating out to play at Maple Leaf Gardens, home of the NHL‘s Toronto Maple Leafs. It was a big thrill for me, and I remember how far the goalie net crossbar was about my head. Nowadays they call the 5–7-year-old, Timbits. They bring them out in-between periods of Toronto Marlies AHL games and I LOVE IT! Here’s some video I shot of a recent game.
