Interesting afternoon. So, I’m down in the condo storage this afternoon looking for a spare video cable. Half the lights in the storage area are burnt out. It’s quite dark and I hear a soft voice “Hello, Hello”. Around the corner walks out an Asian man older than time. “Pretty scary down here?” he says. I agree and add “No dead bodies here, I’m just looking for a video cable”. I was hoping for a laugh but instead his eyes widen, and he glares back at me “Not funny, the last place I lived, there WERE dead bodies in the condo storage lockers” He then tells me a spine-tingler that will haunt me for some time to come. He bids me goodbye. I gaze back down the dark hallway and yell out “Hey, hey…wait for me”. I may finally have my idea for a short film I hope to start shooting next Spring. It’s script writing time now. I will need to find this man to give him proper credit for the inspiration.
