The local artists in Prague are next level. At first glance, I knew I had to have this piece.. I wish I could afford to buy more of Jaroslav Šafr’s work. I love it all.
1,775 °C! It’s actually not normally used for art but that doesn’t stop Jaroslav Safr from creating his sculptures. Look at them, don’t they remind you of a wall of an old house? That’s exactly what the artist is trying to evoke with his mystical looking creations and their earthy colours. We promise that the eyes aren’t watching, and the ears aren’t listening! Or at least that’s what we’ve been told…
Puppet artistry at its finest. I just wish I had the money and the room in my suitcase for the vampire one. The clown and Hitler can stay on the wall.
