Toronto is the horror capital of Canada!
It has hosted some the first and biggest zombie walks. Maybe that’s why George Romero made his last few films here and lived in Toronto up until is death. But is he really dead? Guillermo del Toro has made five films in Toronto and is currently working on his vision of Frankenstein. Toronto’s icy cold won’t stop this mad genius Mexican from loving this city. Toronto is also the birthplace of David Cronenberg. That alone should grant Toronto the horror capital of Canada. Did I mention there is Lucio Fulci movie marathon happening at our local community cinema (The Revue) as I type this post. Also, the home of the #1 and foremost horror culture magazine (sorry Fangoria), Rue Morgue Magazine.
