Eric Nylander has a game!

The Marlies’ comeback was started by Eric Nylander’s assist on Nikita Grebenkin’s goal in the second period. The margin was subsequently cut to 5-2 as Nylander scored his first goal of the evening on the power play. Nylander had barely begun when the Marlies were behind 5-3 at the end of the second session. He left his mark on the scoreboard in the third, helping to assist Joseph Blandisi’s goal to trim the deficit to one before Nylander tied the score in the last minute of regulation. He then helped the Marlies secure their second consecutive victory by scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to top off the evening. A hat trick!
