They tell me there were English pirates in these waters off Ingonish. My favorite was not one of them. My t-shirt print is the only known portrait of Blackbeard, taken from an engraving. As a youngling, all I ever wanted was to be a pirate (despite suffering acute sea sickness) and a farmer. Both of which Edward Teach (Blackbeard) did. Although, he gave up on farming and went back to pirating.
