Prince Edward County
Prince Edward County sits on the northeastern shore of Lake Ontario and has become one of Ontario’s most popular weekend destinations. Small towns, farms, wineries, beaches and quiet country roads give the area a character that feels very different from nearby Toronto.
Picton is the county’s main community, while places like Wellington, Bloomfield and Sandbanks Provincial Park make it easy to spend a few days exploring the area. Food, wine and the Lake Ontario shoreline are a big part of the appeal.
