Peggy’s Cove
Peggy’s Cove is one of those places that looks exactly like the postcard — a tiny fishing village surrounded by weathered houses, fishing boats and enormous granite rocks along the Atlantic coast.
The famous Peggy’s Point Lighthouse gets most of the attention, but the entire village and rocky coastline are worth exploring. The combination of colourful buildings, crashing Atlantic waves and barren granite landscape makes this one of the most distinctive places in Nova Scotia.
Touristy? Absolutely. Still worth seeing? Absolutely.
