Marbella
Marbella offered a completely different side of Spain from the historic cities and inland stops on the trip. Set along the Costa del Sol, it combines old-town streets and traditional Andalusian architecture with beaches, resorts and the unmistakable atmosphere of a Mediterranean coastal town.
The contrast between the historic centre and the more modern seaside areas gives Marbella an interesting mix of old and new, and plenty to photograph along the way.
