Khajuraho
Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh is famous for its extraordinary group of Hindu and Jain temples, built primarily during the Chandela dynasty between the 10th and 12th centuries. The surviving temples are renowned for their intricate stone carvings and sculptures depicting deities, musicians, dancers, everyday life and the erotic imagery for which Khajuraho has become especially well known.
