Delhi and New Delhi
Delhi is a sprawling city where centuries of Indian history exist alongside the modern capital of New Delhi. Old Delhi is filled with crowded markets, narrow streets, historic monuments and reminders of the Mughal era, while New Delhi is characterized by broad avenues, government buildings and architecture dating from the British colonial period.
