Shaolin Monastery
The Shaolin Monastery in Henan Province is one of China’s most famous Buddhist temples and is closely associated with the history and development of Shaolin kung fu. Located near Mount Song, the monastery has a history stretching back more than 1,500 years and remains an important site for both Chinese Buddhism and martial arts.
