Toronto Ukrainian Festival 2028

The 2026 Toronto Ukrainian Festival once again transformed Bloor West Village into one of the city’s most colourful and energetic weekend celebrations. Walking along Bloor Street, there was something happening in every direction — live music, traditional Ukrainian dancing, food stalls, vendors, elaborate costumes and a seemingly endless crowd enjoying the festivities. The festival is always a great event to photograph, with plenty of bright colours, expressive performers and small details that capture the character of the celebration. These photos are a look at some of the people, performances and atmosphere we encountered while wandering through the 2026 festival.
