Tate Modern
Finally, we got to see some of the world’s most exciting modern and contemporary art at Tate Modern. A visit had eluded us on previous trips to London, so this time I made damn sure it happened by booking a hotel directly across the street.
Tate Modern’s collection includes paintings, sculptures and massive installations by artists from around the world, including Pablo Picasso, Yayoi Kusama and Henri Matisse. There were even a few Magrittes. Bonus.
Although I’m 100% convinced Yoko Ono didn’t break up The Beatles — that was John Lennon — I still have no desire to see her art. Of any kind.
