As a life long Dr.Who, there was not greater villain than Davros, the creator of the Doctor’s deadliest enemies, the Daleks. I love that he’s not completely incased in the Dalek shell. It makes him much more frightening. Davros originates from the planet Skaro, where his people, the Kaleds, fought a brutal thousand-year war of attrition against the Thals. He is severely disfigured and disabled—injuries that some spin-off stories attribute to a Thal attack on his laboratory. He has only one working hand and relies on a single cybernetic eye mounted on his forehead, as he cannot keep his natural eyes open for long. For most of his life, he depends entirely on a mobile life-support chair of his own design, which replaces his lower body and later inspires the design of the Daleks. With the lower half of his body gone, he cannot survive outside the chair for more than a few minutes. His voice is electronically altered, much like that of the Daleks. Although he usually speaks in a calm, reflective tone, when provoked or excited he erupts into intense, rapid, and erratic outbursts reminiscent of Dalek speech.
