Japan Again?

This was our second time to Japan. The first being in 2016. Both visits required a month as there is so much to experience there. We noticed this time around though that the Japanese were less accommodating and friendly to that in 2016. I think this contributes to over-tourism. I don’t remember using our phone translator all that much last visit. However, this time, it was all day long for signage, and vocal exchanges. This did not really diminish or experience all that much, we just had to work a little harder. When I did speak to some Japanese, they mentioned the over-tourism is mostly in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and the rest of Japan is really hurting for tourists. Would we go back to Japan? Absolutely!
