Tate Modern

Finally, we get to see some of the world’s most exciting modern and contemporary art at Tate Modern. This visit had eluded us on previous visits to London. I ensured this visit by booking a hotel directly across the street from Tate Modern. On display are paintings, sculptures, and large-scale installations from artists around the world including Pablo Picasso, Yayoi Kusama and Henri Matisse. There were even a few Magrittes there as well. Bonus. Although I’m 100% convinced Yoko Ono didn’t break up The Beatles (that was John Lennon) I have no desire to see her art, of any kind.
