Brussels
Chocolate, waffles and fries. Rinse and repeat. Best you will EVER have, I assure you. Put on your fatty pants for this stop. My wife can now officially declare that she’s had “Muscles from Brussels,” and I became particularly fond of the Flemish beef stew. Belgium was turning out to be a dangerously good place to eat.
Brussels was also home to something I’d been looking forward to enormously: the museum dedicated to one of my favourite painters of all time — and no, it’s not Dalí — René Magritte. I was super stoked to visit the Musée Magritte Museum. I was like a kid in a candy store. There was so much of his work I’d never seen before, including paintings from periods and styles I hadn’t associated with Magritte.
Below you can browse our photographs from Brussels or jump directly to the individual gallery for the Musée Magritte Museum.
