A major new Dracula-themed theme park is officially in development in Europe, and it’s shaping up to be one of the continent’s most ambitious entertainment projects. Known as Dracula Land, the park is planned near Bucharest, Romania, with an anticipated opening between 2026 and 2027.
Part of a billion-euro development, Dracula Land will feature six fully themed lands and more than forty attractions. Visitors will explore environments inspired by Transylvania, Dracula’s Castle, and classic European folklore, experiencing a mix of roller coasters, dark rides, walkthrough attractions, and immersive storytelling rooted in vampire mythology.
One of the centerpiece areas will be Dracula’s Castle, showcasing crumbling ruins, gothic architecture, haunted mazes, and high-thrill attractions. Additional areas will include family-friendly lands inspired by global legends, along with themed villages designed to feel like stepping into a dark fantasy world.
The project extends far beyond rides alone. Plans include multiple Dracula-themed hotels, a massive water park and thermal spa, a large entertainment arena for concerts and events, and a luxury shopping district. The entire resort is designed as a multi-day destination rather than a single-day park experience.
Located just minutes from Bucharest and close to the international airport, the park is expected to attract millions of visitors annually while creating thousands of jobs. If development stays on schedule, Dracula Land could become Europe’s most immersive horror and fantasy-themed destination.
