Nipponbashi (DenDen Town) in Osaka is one of my most favorite places in Japan. Denden is a haven for electronics, anime and otaku-related shopping, just like Tokyo’s famous electronics district Akihabara. For this reason, it is sometimes referred to as the “Akihabara of West Japan”. Also, home to massive Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera electronic stores. Yes, it’s not DenDen town, it’s my town!
I’m always on the lookout for horror themed memorabilia. The older the better. This led me to the infamous ASTRO ZOMBIES store in central DenDen. I could have maxed out all my credit cards in the place. Thank the gods my wife pulled me out in time. But not before I saw these little Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead) super action figures, not dolls, as my wife says with a grin. Check them out!
