This is the second time I’ve seen Rammstein. The first being in Toronto ten years ago and that was the best concert experience ever for me. I didn’t think they could top that indoor Toronto show, but they did… exponentially. A concert postponed twice due to COVID and this was Rammstein’s first North American stadium show, and it was MASSIVE and yes, there was FIRE!
Each show needs ninety trucks and over 400 people to set up and transport this 1,350-ton show. It contains 586 pyro effects, 1,070 stage lights, thirty-six smoke machines. It also burns about 1,000 litres of pyro fuel and uses almost nine hundred pounds of confetti! If you were living on the south shore of Montreal or in the downtime area, you heard the two and a half hours of this musical event because Rammstein uses 170 amplifiers that generate a total output of 2,040,000 watts!!!! It was loud and theatrical which is fine by me.
Check out the tech in detail that goes into this Rammstein production.
